One to One: Practicing Reading with Students
As part of its belief that business has both a stake and a role to play in supporting young students learning to read, the Partnership has developed One to One: Practicing Reading with Students. One to One provides employers with the support and resources they need to start a volunteer tutoring program in a local elementary school, train employees to work one-on-one with children, keep informed on the most recent reading test data, and use that data to make decisions in local communities.
Online tutorial version of Students Speak Toolkit
The Students Speak Toolkit is now available in an online tutorial version. The new version includes all the materials from the print Toolkit and is designed for easy exploration and comfortable on-screen reading. Use this Toolkit to help you increase the student voice in school improvement.
